We run for various reasons and we join running races for various causes but would our passion for running be more worthwhile if we see our less – fortunate brothers and sisters desolated to polio but could barely move without the aid of others. While we freely move and hit each running stance or complain of cramping leg, a good number of financially – constrained handicapped held prison to their seat without support.
However, you can make a significant and distinct help and make others extra happier when you and your loved ones join the noblest run by far, the WHEELS OF HOPE by Masons of Dadiangas Lodge No. 225 slated on June 17, 2012.
Wheels of Hope Run for the Crippled and Desolated
This project was conceived in April 2010 when a hopeful concerned neighbor appealed for a 10 – year – old girl afflicted with polio since aged two (2). To date, the Masons of Dadiangas Lodge No. 225 had provided to five (5) other deprived individuals their much – needed wheel chairs.
The WHEELS OF HOPE RUN shall sustain this project and aims to assist more crippled recipients especially the kids. Let us give HOPE as,
“A CHILD HAS ALL THE RIGHT TO PLAY, LEARN, SMILE, WALK, RUN,
MORESO, ENJOY THE GOODNESS OF CHILDLIFE”
So, join us as we weave hope and realize that humanity and goodness is still among us. Let running and helping be more fun this June 17, 2012.
This fun run of 3K, 5K, and 10K categories shall conclude at East Asia Royale Hotel with medals and cash prizes await top 3 finishers from the 5K and 10K men’s and women’s division.
